| ADMINISTRATION | The Dunedin Stirling Soccer Club is located in Dunedin, Florida, a city with a population of 37,000 located in the center of densely populated Pinellas County. The club is located in the heart of the soccer frenzied Tampa Bay Area. The Club prides itself on a family atmosphere, where recreational and competitive soccer thrive. The Club provides an outstanding program of professional training and competition for its competitive players, and a recreational programs of coaching and play for young athletes of all ages. The Club gets its name and Scottish heritage from Stirling, Scotland, Dunedin's U.K. sister city. Founded over 20 years ago, the Club has continually provided recreational, competitive and adult soccer teams for residents of Dunedin and all its surrounding communities. MISSION STATEMENT This organization exists to serve the youth of this community by offering a conglomeration of soccer activities for beginning, intermediate and advanced players. We stand firm in our belief that through the world's most popular game of soccer we can instill in our players a true sense of what it means to be part of a team. Emphasis is not limitedto teaching soccer skills alone, but, just as important, it also encompasses life skills by providing an enviroment for our players conducive to teaching respect for oneself and others, discipline, loyalty and good sportsmanship-win or lose. We valiantly accept the responsibility of reinforcing ethics and building fond mempories for our players; it is the standard by which we measure our "true" success. CLUB AFFILIATION The Club is affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) and the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA). The Club also is a member of the Gulf Coast Youth Soccer Association (GYSA) and the United Soccer Association (USA). Youth leagues and team play are scheduled and played in accordance with the rules and regulations of the area and State governing organizations. The Dunedin Stirling facilities include a 5-acre soccer complex located at Jerry Lake Park in Dunedin. The complex includes lighted fields, a clubhouse and concession stand. The Club's activities are supported in part by affordable registration fees paid by participants and by financial contributions from individual and corporate sponsors throughout Dunedin and the surrounding communities. The Club is incorporated in Florida and is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, making contributions to the Club tax deductible.
