About DSSC's Competitive Soccer ProgramDunedin Stirling Soccer Club offers a wide range of training opportunities for its players who want to play at a higher level of soccer. DSSC competitive teams field enthusiatic plaers who travel throughout Region C area playing tournaments and games that provide experience to help them move on to the college level and beyond.
All Club teams are coached by Don Tobin doc@dunedinstirling.com, Director of Coaching, and team coaches that are licensed by FYSA. Tryouts are held each spring at the Dunedin Stirling Soccer Club fields, Jerry Lake Soccer Complex in Dunedin, Florida. Our facilities are located on the corner of C.R. 1 and Virginia Ave, behind the pizza parlor.
During the year, Don Tobin holds clinics and instructional lessons for all competitive players. These events are designed to help improve the players total developments, including their mental and physical approach to the game of soccer.
All competitive teams train at the DSSC once a week with Don Tobin, and with additional training provided by the Clubs Training Staff.
